Job Description
Use existing HR systems to develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service reports.
Address reporting needs for all of HR, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Training & Development, Employee Engagement, Payroll and Benefits, and Regulatory / Compliance.
Perform peer review team mate development work and perform recurring quality control data validation as needed
Support new system implementations, upgrades and software releases from the reporting standpoint including making updates and testing
Provide data consultation related to integration development
Recommend business process or system enhancements to improve reporting capabilities and influence system owners to incorporate changes.
Skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5-7 years of experience in an HRIS or HR Analyst role, with an emphasis on reporting and extracting data from systems preferred
Experience designing and developing custom reports within one or more of the following tools: Workday (HR and/or Payroll), SumTotal, EdCast, iCIMS, ServiceNow.
A keen interest in data and related reporting and extraction tools and a desire to learn new tools
Proven ability to synthesize information and translate complex information in an easy to understand, effective format that is both fit for purpose and audience appropriate
Natural tendency to validate data results to ensure accuracy in reports
A natural ability to think logically and to design and process logical statements
A high degree of attention to detail, strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
A strong understanding of core Human Resources functions and typical workforce management processes
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A passion for creating an exceptional user experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with MS Access, basic data model principles, and/ or some experience writing SQL statements or some other programming language.
